Dominican Republic – Teacher Training

For several years, our church’s student ministry partnered with Iglesia Bautista Getsemani helping them grow into a great church and a Christian school ministry.  They now have a vision to multiply and plant churches and strengthen their teachers in the Christian school.

Who can go?
Adults (especially educators) and students with parents

Who are we partnering with?
We will be working with Pastor Kendar Robles and his wife Hosana. Most of the work will be done at the church location (Iglesia Bautista Getsemani), where they also have an academy (CECCAI: 125 students – Pre-K3 – 5th grade). Training for teachers and potential church planting.

What will we do?
The main purpose of the trip is to equip their academy teachers through professional development, as well as help with classroom setup, decoration, and building beautification. We will also have the opportunity to visit and learn about a potential church plant in Pastor Kendar’s hometown.
