God’s Design for the World | Gen. 1:1-25
The most important verse in the Bible is Genesis 1:1. Francis Schaffer said that it is the most “pregnant sentences ever written.” If you don’t believe it, then you can’t believe the rest of the Bible. Genesis means “beginning.” The book of Genesis was not written to be a scientific textbook, but rather a theological narrative written to reveal the God of creation. The basis of a Biblical, Christian worldview is found in Genesis 1:1 and in it we see that before creation, there was a creator God and at creation, there was a creative design.
