Foster Parent Support Meeting

In partnership with One More Child and the David Lawrence Center, we will have a Foster Parent Support Meeting on September 18th, 6:00-8:00pm in DC 121. During the meeting we will have specialized training on youth mental health with Jessica Liria (read her bio below) and a Potluck Style Dinner.

Jessica Liria is the Education Manager with David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC). As a member of the DLC team since 2013, Jessica has held numerous roles spanning the continuum of care from prevention to crisis services. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Studies (class of 2009), and earned her Master of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Forensic Studies with a concentration in Forensic Behavior Analysis (2013). Jessica participates in many coalitions and community groups in Collier County and throughout Southwest Florida. She is a certified instructor in Mental Health First Aid, QPR, and several other evidence-based behavioral health training programs. Jessica is a graduate of Associate Leadership Collier, class of 2021, and was recently awarded 40 Under 40 by Gulfshore Business.
