God’s Design for Worship | Gen. 4:1-26
Kristopher Woods   -

The first three chapters of Genesis highlights life inside the garden, and now in chapter 4 we begin a new narrative with life outside the garden. Outside the garden we try to come to God on our terms, not His. There, sin manifested itself the same way as it did with Satan – pride. God’s design for worship is greater than our pride and propagation of brokenness.

As we read the story of Cain and Abel we see that the relationship Cain has with his brother directly impacts the relationship he has with God. While there is deep depravity of sinfulness, there is still hope as the chapter begins and ends in the same place – worship of God.
