We are called to make disciples that make disciples, reaching the world with the gospel from our Neighbors to the Nations. We are blessed to partner with many missionaries and ministries, locally, nationally, and internationally and our Neighbors to the Nations Missions Offering supports these partners. Our 2024 goal is $600,000 to help support partners who are making disciples around the world! Joint mission effort of Southern Baptist churches for the purpose of evangelizing + church planting in North America. Over 5,200 missionaries and planters are supported out of this offering.
The population of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico is over 72,000 people, yet there is no SBC presence in the area. The Santos family is engaging in the strategic work of reaching the area with a vision to reach the lost, edify the saints, and send the called to plant churches.
In times of disaster, our community has consistently received support. Just as we have received help, we have a dedicated and certified team who respond to disasters as part of the Southern Baptist Disaster Send Relief Network, responding effectively to emergencies in SWFL and across the nation.
Radiant Church is a new plant, in the early stages of launching in Syracuse, NY. Led by Jason Lankford, they partner with the Salt Network and NAMB and are currently focused on developing ministries on the campus of Syracuse University and building small groups throughout the city. First Naples sends teams to help them with community outreach and campus events.
Redemption Church is a new plant in Orlando, FL, led by Andrew Strucker. Their goal is to reach all people, with all of Jesus, for all of life. First Naples teams help them host a VBS week in the summer to reach families and kids in their community with life that can only be found in Jesus.
The Church at Channelside is preparing to launch in the downtown Tampa area. They look forward to laying the groundwork to see the gospel proclaimed and people transformed through Tampa Bay and throughout the world.
Man in the Mirror’s vision is to see “every church disciple every man,” raising up godly men to become leaders in their homes, places of work, and churches. They provide discipleship opportunities and resources to men and churches across the nation.
Hearts with Hands is a disaster relief ministry offering physical assistance alongside spiritual care. In the aftermath of disaster, they provide non-perishable food boxes, water, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, and more. They have been on the ground with First Naples after Hurricanes Irma and Ian and we send teams and financial support to partner with them in disaster response nationwide.
Noah grew up through our church and has been a mission partner with us for a couple years, serving the families and community in Homestead Florida. He is currently attending seminary in preparation for becoming a church planter.
Brian Hook is a long-time church planter working in Arizona. We’ve sent multiple teams to Aspire Church to run sports camps with the goal of sharing the gospel and getting the community plugged into a local church.
We are partnering with Compassion International to fund a child development center through a local church in Tanzania, empowering them to disciple the kids in their community in Jesus’ name.
Against the harsh context of poverty, the nurturing environment at the church-based center fosters well-being, youth agency, self-confidence and a spirit of service. Children are equipped to become disciples of Christ and achieve a fulfilling life.
Third Culture Kids or “TCK’s” are kids who are raised in a culture other than that of their parents or the culture of their country of nationality, and also live in a different environment during a significant part of their child development years. We are able to support TCKs living on the mission field with their parents by providing activities and discipleship for them during IMB conferences, help with their yearly retreat, and send care packages. These are just a couple of ways we can help remind kids growing up on the mission field that they aren’t alone, they are prayed for, and their sacrifices on the field for God’s kingdom are seen.
Paul comes from an Islamic background, and uses his life story to share the truth about Christ with Muslims and the Islamic world. He utilizes the internet, conferencing rolls, groups, and satellite TV to reach the 10/40 window. His outreach ministry is viewed around the globe, teaching apologetics in response to Muslim questions and claims, with the goal of presenting the truth of Christ with love.
Brant + Kara have been with the IMB for almost 8 years and are currently serving in Redhill, UK at the Global Training Center – Brant, as the European Digital Engagement Strategist and Kara as the Child Care and Volunteer Coordinator. Brant has the privilege of helping and training IMB teams across Europe in leveraging digital tools and social media – reaching areas like the Ukraine and Syria with the hope of the gospel. Kara coordinates teams to run conferences for IMB personnel who have spent 1-3 years on the field, caring for their kids and creating a refreshing and refueling environment.
Using his unique background, Jalil as an Iraqi refugee, Jalil has served as pastor of the Arabic Church of Dallas, Texas, and founded World Refugee Care, a Gospel-centered organization that helps refugees rebuild their lives. Thes outreaches have an incredible impact on both Muslim and persecuted Christian refugees, serving tens of thousands of displaced families – many of whom have embraced faith in Jesus Christ.
Pastor Fernando Facioli serves as Director of Leadership Outreach, which seeks to train pastors, multiply ministry leaders, revitalize churches, and promote church planting in the remote areas of the Amazon Basin. The oral culture of the Amazon Jungle means people rely on hearing the Word of God taught to them. Fernando and his team provide “River Pastors” and church leaders with theological training to better teach their communities the truths of God’s Word.
First Naples partners with a couple in Western Europe to host an annual Arabic Baptist Conference supporting Arabic speaking pastors and ministry leaders. They seek to glorify Jesus by planting healthy churches and their ministry works with immigrant Arabic speaking and refugee populations. In recent years, they have been able to see 5 Arabic speaking churches planted.
TAP International (The Altruism Project) partners with local churches to support evangelistic outreach, primarily in India. Their mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower people worldwide to build healthier lives through a personal relationship with Jesus.
Adoptando was founded by the Vargas Family to train Christian families and churches on adoption + foster care and is an official partner of NAMB + Send Relief. They have opened the first gospel-centered adoption agency in Puerto Rico and are a Send Relief Ministry Center that connects the needs of orphans with the local church and North American churches. They were also recently able to open the first gospel-centered Emotional and Spiritual Restoration Center for Children – an orphanage that serves children from the ages 0-12. First Naples has been able to send multiple teams to partner in their ministry to support children and families across Puerto Rico.
We are blessed to support a family serving with the IMB in Spain who mobilize Southern Baptist fellowships to engage lostness in the North Africa and Middle East region.
