How many of you have ever needed someone else’s help? Now, I love my daughter, but as those of you who have kids know, babies can’t really do much for themselves. Finley is no different. There’s an occurrence everyday where she gets hungry but guess what, she can’t feed herself. At another point in the day, she gets sleepy and wants to nap, but she can’t put her pjs on, and she can’t get into her crib by herself. She can’t change her clothes. She can’t change her diaper. She can’t even tell us what she wants. You see, she is completely dependent on me and Gillian to take care of all her needs. No matter how hard she might try to do it herself, she is hopeless without us. The path to salvation has nothing to do with what you do, but everything to do with Who you receive.
